Blue lineite is a complex borosilicate basin mineral, chemical formula: Al7(BO3)(SiO4)3O3, usually columnar or fibrous; blue to green-blue, and also rose-colored. The content of blue lineite in blue aventurine is generally 5% to 10%, and the needle-like crystallites are dispersed among the quartz particles. The blue color of the rock (light blue ~ dark blue ~ purple blue) comes from blue line stone. Translucent to slightly transparent. The vitreous luster also often has aventurine effect due to the reflection of blue lineite microcrystals. Hardness 7, relative density 2.7~2.8
