2 Gua Sha Method in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Method 1:

Step1: Scraping the spine, starting from the neck hairline, gua sha to the Dazhui. Using 1/3 of the guasha stone, gradually scrape to the waist. Use a flat plate to scrape to the tailbone; repeat ten to twenty times;

Step 2: gua sha the two bladder tendons, starting from the shoulder tendons, scraping to the waist, using the flat plate to scrape to the ring jump, and then use the force to make a circle.

The third step: Gua sha the scapula seam, starting from the shoulder and neck tendon to gua sha in an arc;

The fourth step: scraping the Tianzong point, guasha from top to bottom;

Step 5: Gua sha the big rib;

Step 6: Gua sha the rib seam;

Step 7: Gua sha your arms to your palms (middle then sides).

Method 1:

Sitting upright, or with feet apart, gua sha the middle of the neck, and use the straight-line gua sha method. The technique should be light and the moving speed should be slow. Scrape the central governor vessel on the back of the neck from the hairline down, and gua sha 10-20 times.

 

If the patient is thin, the neck muscles are relatively small, and the cervical vertebrae are obviously protruding, the edges and corners of the gua sha stone can be used to press and massage the intervertebral space, and press each space from top to bottom for about 10 seconds.

Then shave the back of the neck in a straight line. 20-30 times on each side, because there are more muscles here, the strength of the manipulation can be increased a little, from light to heavier, and then reduced for the last 3-5 times.

 

Gua sha the foot sun point, bladder point on both sides of the spine through the patrol line area, use the corner of the gua sha tool to scrape the area 2-4 fingers apart from the middle of the back of the spine, guasha from top to bottom, and scrape each side 20-30 times.
